Imagineland On The Road

About Imagineland

Imagineland is the most important pop culture festival in Northeast Brazil and one of the most important in the whole country. Born in Paraíba, it was created with a clear mission: to prove that the Northeast has the power, the audience and the passion to host a world-class entertainment festival. And it did.

Each edition turns a physical venue into something much bigger — a universe where film, series, comics, games, anime, cosplay and music come together, where icons become a real presence, and where every fan finds their place in the world.

It all started in July 2023, at the João Pessoa Convention Center. A first edition that could have been shy — and wasn't. 27,000 people took over the capital of Paraíba, sharing the same space with legends like Frank Miller, one of the biggest names in comics history, and Maurício de Sousa, who was honored with the title of Paraíba citizen on a night that made history. At that moment, Paraíba entered the global map of major entertainment events for good.

In 2024, there was no more doubt — Imagineland was real and was here to stay. João Pessoa hosted the festival for the second time, and the response was even more overwhelming: over 150 hours of content, five simultaneous stages, and a lineup that mixed generations and emotions. Carlos Villagrán, the eternal Quico from Chaves, shared the stage with RBD's Christian Chavez. Selton Mello, Matheus Nachtergaele and Virginia Cavendish brought the magic of O Auto da Compadecida 2. And Sepultura, one of the most iconic rock bands in Brazil, closed an unforgettable weekend.

In 2025, Imagineland took an even bolder step: it left the capital and went On the Road to Campina Grande, the Queen of Borborema, which became the stage for a festival that drew more than 30,000 people at the brand-new Convention Center. Imagineland's first touring edition didn't compromise on anything — same standard, same energy, and a cast to match: Daniel Gillies from The Vampire Diaries, Osric Chau from Supernatural, Kim Joo-ryoung from Squid Game, and Jessie T. Usher from The Boys. It also reserved opening day for a gesture that says a lot about what Imagineland stands for: free entry for public school students.

And 2026 arrived with news Campina Grande was already expecting: Imagineland On the Road returns to the land of the biggest São João in the world. On September 25, 26 and 27, the city turns into the land of imagination once again — and what's coming promises to be bigger, more exciting and more unforgettable than ever.

The story goes on. And it's being written right here.
